Requisition ID: 69454 This Role In Summary Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role for Forecast and Deployment Analyst (Analyst, Supply & Logistics). This role will be located onsite at our facility in Canada. The Forecast and Deployment Analyst leads the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, owning the development and maintenance of sales forecasts, and driving cross-functional alignment on deployment and execution strategies. This role strategically manages inventory levels, proactively identifies supply chain risks, and provides leadership in demand‑side input for S&OP, ensuring optimal supply‑demand alignment. Your Responsibilities Will Include Own and lead the development and maintenance of a robust sales forecast (SKU/Week/Location) to drive predictability and accuracy. Provide leadership and direction to the Sales organization, acting as the primary subject matter expert for the Channel forecasting process. Drive collaborative efforts with Sales and Trade Marketing to establish a comprehensive understanding of all events/promo activities within major Channels/Trade Partners that influence the demand signal. Drive the management of all product transitions and launches from a forecasting and integrated supply chain coordination perspective. Strategically manage inventory levels, autonomously driving adjustments to the forecast and deployment plans to optimize inventory holding costs and minimize stockouts. Establish and lead the development and presentation of executive‑level reports on forecast accuracy, deployment efficiency, and other strategic metrics. Direct collaboration with the production planning team to ensure the forecast and deployment plans are strategically aligned with production capacity and long‑range planning. Lead the demand side input for the S&OP process, acting as the primary subject matter expert responsible for setting the consensus forecast. Drive and lead special projects as required. Using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas). Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning or forecasting Preferred Skills And Experiences Technical Proficiency – Knowledge of SAP Attention to Detail – Demonstrates high accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and system inputs to ensure the integrity of the strategic planning process Analytical Thinking – Exceptional ability to synthesize complex forecast data, derive strategic insights, and independently set a course of action to ensure optimal supply‑demand alignment. Problem Solving – Proactively owns the identification of complex supply chain risks and establishes robust mitigation strategies to prevent service or inventory disruptions Communication Skills – Acts as the primary communication leader, clearly articulating strategic insights and decisions to executive and cross‑functional teams, driving consensus.
