**Your Role**:
As the Forecasting and Insights Analyst, you will provide forecasting and reporting expertise, along with supporting the analytics infrastructure at EMD Serono to ensure we are equipped with the best available processes and tools to deliver insights to the business, increasing sales and growing market share. You will be Accountable for working with global teams to ensure the stability and evolution of the B&CI (Business and Customer Insights) on-premise and cloud data analytics platform, ensuring that it leverages the latest developments in technology. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage in the AWS cloud environment and act as a trusted partner of commercial and medical functions by leading the development, maintenance and update of forecasting models for the assigned therapeutic areas.

You will also gather data from a variety of sources to assess, interpret, and analyze to develop a thorough, accurate, and supportable forecast for use in commercial operations and financial planning and act as a skillful data analytics partner to produce market, patient, and customer insights from different data sources including Veeva CRM, SAP financial system, SFDC Patient Support Systems, IQVIA, etc. You will also develop reporting, analyses, and insights for commercial and medical functions to enable timely and accurate decisions using patient data, customer data, reimbursement data, co-pay data, device data, and any other relevant data sources and analyze secondary market research data to leverage when developing the forecast baseline and identifying key market / product events.

**Who You Are**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Economics and/or Science
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics and/or data engineering, with experience building and maintaining time series forecasting models, quantifying market events, and developing financial forecasts
- Strong communication and presentation skills with previous experience conveying complex data and insights to business stakeholders Fluent in English - Written and Verbal

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Proven hands-on experience with AWS and AWS tools (S3, EC2, GLUE, VPCs)
- Experience with GCP/Azure/Palantir will also be considered an asset
- Experience with Python, Java or similar object-oriented languages
- Proficient in use of with SQL, data modeling and data storage systems
- Strong business background combined with advanced analytical techniques to create solutions and insights that support business decision making Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience
