The Business Analyst will be involved in projects of different complexities with project managers and business analysts from different IT teams of the company. Effective collaboration will be required to organize and coordinate meetings and workshops to meet the priorities and mandate of the project. You will be challenged to summarize complex topics or meetings, seek consensus and facilitate decisions by proposing strategies and advice to remove blocking elements from the project plan.Participate in requirements gathering session with business and/or technical experts
Collaborate with senior business analysts in working sessions to solve for data flow improvements or updates
Support a cross-functional team to document end-to-end solutioning that meets the business requirements
Participate in preparation of design documents to executives and IT experts that focuses on how the data will flow and be transformed throughout the finance ecosystem
Support the validation team in preparing test data
Perform and support users’ acceptance testing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role for finance team and/or financial systems.Studies/minor in finance or accounting is considered an asset.Basic knowledge of financial, IT, database systems and technologies (Data Warehouses, SQL, SAS, ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, etc.).Proficiency in the use of Office 365, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio.Advanced Excel (look ups, Pivots, complex formulas and functions).Understanding of ETL principles, data elements, data structures and data modeling is considered an asset.
