Be part of an organization committed to fostering growth and empowering individuals on our team and in our East Coast community.East Coast Credit Union is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team reporting to the Manager Marketing and Communications. This role oversees and executes our digital marketing efforts across multiple channels. They collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive digital presence across all channels. The Digital Marketing Specialist contributes to the planning and execution of integrated campaigns, enhances digital member touchpoints, and leverages insights, analytics and performance metrics to increase marketing effectiveness and provide an optimized digital experience.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and enhance marketing activities across all digital channels including website, mobile app, email, paid search (PPC) and online banking platform.Ensure digital channels reflect accurate and current content that aligns with member needs and enhances the member experience.Perform SEO audits using industry-standard tools to improve visibility, drive organic traffic and boost search rankings.Implement and refine paid search (PPC) campaigns using targeting, bidding strategies, retargeting and tailored landing pages to improve performance and conversions.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to optimize member journeys across digital touchpoints.Contribute to the planning and execution of campaigns across digital, traditional and emerging channels.Assist in managing campaign timelines and deliverables including brief development, KPI setting, external agency and partner coordination, proofing creative assets and obtaining required approvals.Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate digital campaign elements and consistent messaging with other campaign deliverables.Leverage past campaign analytics, research and member insights to inform future strategic briefs and campaign planning.Use Canva to create graphics for digital channels including website ads and email headers.Own the day-to-day management of East Coast Credit Union websites and microsites including regular audits to verify they are up-to-date and working correctly.Complete routine and time-sensitive content updates ensuring accuracy and alignment with best practices.Recommend and implement UX/UI improvements to navigation, content structure, mobile responsiveness and accessibility.Use basic HTML/CSS to format content, resolve website issues and assist with implementing new features.Collaborate with internal teams on technical accuracy of content and alignment with broader content strategy.Own the building, testing and scheduling of email marketing campaigns and member communications through the email marketing platform.Verify emails render properly across desktop, mobile and mailbox providers.Monitor metrics such as open rates, CTRs, conversions and deliverability and drive continuous improvement.Ensure all email campaigns comply with CASL and privacy legislation.Maintain and oversee the marketing and communications email schedule.Execute digital advertising placements within online banking and mobile app platforms.Maintain accurate Google Business Profiles for all branch locations.Review and respond to Google Reviews to strengthen brand reputation and encourage increased member engagement.Participate in community initiatives and represent the Credit Union at external events and conferences.Stay current on evolving digital marketing trends, tools and compliance standards and share insights with the team.QualificationsYou have: Post-secondary education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related field.You have: a minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.You are: Able to manage and execute digital marketing campaigns and strategies across multiple channels.You are: Experienced managing websites through a CMS platform; basic HTML/CSS skills.You are: A strong copywriter and storyteller with skills to craft engaging, targeted on-brand digital content across ads, email and landing pages.You are: Experienced using analytics, advertising and SEO platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SEMrush and UTM tracking frameworks.BenefitsOutstanding culture and opportunity to join an engaged and community-focused team.Competitive compensation ($65,820.61 - $77,436.32) to commensurate with experience and education and benefits with performance-based incentives.Potential for flexible work arrangements including Flex Time, Telework and compressed work week.Assistance with immigration through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) - we are a designated employer.Generous benefit package including a Flexible Health and Dental Plan (paid 100% by employer) and up to 9% contribution with employer match in the Defined Contribution Pension Plan.Tuition reimbursement, training and personal development.Additional employee perks include but not limited to annual wellness credit; reduced rates on employee loans / mortgages and paid volunteer time.Applications will be accepted until: October 8, 2025.Please note that all offers of employment are conditional upon the acceptance of an Individual Fidelity Bond Application which includes a criminal check and a credit check.Dont meet every single requirement?
