Recruitment Specialist at LeverageTek Staffing Solutions LeverageTek is actively seeking an SAP Data Migration Lead for a 12 month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Remote (Montreal preferred) Key Tasks Lead the full end-to-end SAP data migration workstream for a large ECC → S/4 HANA program. Manage and mentor a team of data migration developers, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and accountability. Plan, execute, and refine ETL workflows, data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and load processes. Oversee multiple migration cycles (Mock 0, Mock 1, Mock 2, etc.) and ensure readiness for cutover. Troubleshoot and resolve complex data, environment, and mapping issues across functional and technical teams. Collaborate closely with business SMEs to validate data quality (pre-load and post-load). Provide clear migration strategy, governance, and documentation across all phases and geographic waves. Support risk mitigation, timeline recovery, and issue resolution within a program that requires stabilization and improved leadership. Work with technical teams to automate or optimize migration processes where applicable. Key Qualifications 10+ years as a Data Migration Lead (minimum 5 years required) Extensive SAP data migration experience, ideally across multiple ECC → S/4 HANA transitions Deep expertise in ETL processes and SAP migration tools such as: SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, LTMC Qualifications Experience with all functional modules (minus HCM) and technical modules. FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), MM (Material Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), QM (Quality Management) and PM (Plant Maintenance). Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and quality control (pre-load and post-load). Proven leadership skills with the ability to build trust, unify teams, and improve delivery performance. Ability to step into a mature, behind-schedule program and make an immediate impact. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Assets Experience with Snowflake and Dataiku, especially for automation and ABAP-related optimization. Data architecture or technical lead background.
