Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager.Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension).

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and operations, with a proven track record of driving efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain operations, improve efficiency, and minimize costs while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and implement inventory control measures to minimize excess inventory and stockouts while maximizing inventory turnover.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods, coordinate with logistics partners, and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective distribution.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensure business continuity, and respond effectively to disruptions or unforeseen events.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and KPIs to monitor key metrics, track performance, and identify areas for improvement, making data-driven decisions to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining the highest levels of ethical and legal standards in all supply chain activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics processes, and inventory management techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex supply chain challenges.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and supply chain software/tools (ERP systems, inventory management software, data analytics tools).
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
