DHL Express cherche actuellement un(e) Conseiller(ere) principal(e) bilingue des relations avec les employés et relations de travail pour joindre notre équipe. Ce rôle exige une personne proactive qui excelle dans un environnement en croissance rapide et qui souhaite bâtir une carrière dans les ressources humaines. Ce rôle sera responsable de fournir des conseils aux leaders et au PARH en ce qui concerne les relations de travail, l'interprétation de la convention collective, des politiques et des lois, ainsi que de superviser la conformité et donner le soutien dans les projets spéciaux. En tant que membre de l'équipe des relations de travail, ce rôle travaillera en étroite collaboration avec la Directrice de travail, invalidité, politiques et conformité pour:

Relations avec les employés et relations de travail
  • Fournir des conseils et du soutien aux gestionnaires et au PARH sur une variété de questions relatives aux relations avec les employés, notamment la gestion du rendement, les conflits en milieu de travail et les mesures disciplinaires.
  • Conseiller le PARH lors du traitement des griefs et des plaintes des employés grâce à des enquêtes et des médiations.
  • Appuyer la gestion des activités en relations de travail, notamment en aidant à la négociation et aux négociations collectives.
  • Aider à assurer la conformité aux conventions collectives et régler les conflits liés aux activités syndicales.
  •  Aider à la préparation et à l’administration des contrats et des ententes de travail.
  •  Administrer la procédure de règlement des griefs pour s’assurer que tous les dossiers de griefs, d’arbitrage et de CIRB sont préparés pour les litiges.
Conformité et respect des politiques:
  •  Assurer la conformité aux lois et règlements fédéraux et locaux en matière de travail, ainsi qu’aux politiques organisationnelles.
  • Contribuer à l’élaboration, à la révision et à la diffusion des manuels, des politiques et des procédures de l’employé.
  • Effectuer des vérifications et examens réguliers pour s’assurer du respect des politiques et recommander des mises à jour au besoin.
  • Coordonner l’administration des rapports et des procédures liés aux déclarations gouvernementales, à la gestion des conflits d’intérêts et à d’autres initiatives nationales.
  •  Mener diverses analyses, collecte d'informations et recherches liées au travail, à la conformité, aux griefs et à la législation.
  • Jouer un rôle essentiel dans les initiatives nationales en matière de relations de travail et de conformité, comme la Loi fédérale sur l’équité salariale, la Loi fédérale sur l’accessibilité, la gestion du BKMS, les résultats de conformité, etc.
  • Suivre les résultats de conformité identifiés.
Formation et perfectionnement:
  • Appuyer la création et la prestation de programmes de formation sur les questions relatives aux employés et aux relations de travail.
  • Fournir des conseils aux gestionnaires et aux employés sur les pratiques exemplaires pour traiter les problèmes en milieu de travail. 
Rapports et documentation:
  • Tenir des dossiers exacts et confidentiels sur les cas, les enquêtes et les résultats en matière de relations avec les employés.
  • Préparer des rapports et des résumés sur les tendances, les enjeux et les paramètres des employés et des relations de travail pour la haute direction.
  • Suivre et analyser les données sur les relations avec les employés afin de cerner les tendances et de recommander des améliorations.
Implication des parties prenantes:
  •  Collaborer avec les départements des ressources humaines, des affaires juridiques et d’autres départements pour régler les problèmes liés aux employés et aux relations de travail et atteindre les objectifs organisationnels.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations positives avec les représentants syndicaux, les groupes de défense des employés et les autres intervenants pertinents.
  • Fournir un service à la clientèle exceptionnel en anglais et en français afin d’assurer une communication claire et efficace ainsi qu’une compréhension des questions, préoccupations et demandes faites par des clients provenant de partout au Canada.

Qualifications:

Avez-vous tout ce qu’il faut?
  • Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, en relations du travail ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • 5 ans d’expérience relative en ressources humaines.
  • Bilingue, français-anglais (OBLIGATOIRE).
  • Compétence intermédiaire en Excel.
  • L’expérience avec les logiciels/l’analyse des données est un atout.
  • Flexibilité en termes d’heures de travail.
  • Niveau élevé d’attention aux détails et à l’analyse.
  • Responsable, capable de résoudre les problèmes.
  • Capacité de travailler sous pression et dans des délais serrés.
  • Capacité d’apprendre rapidement et d’être bien organisé.
  • Forte orientation vers la clientèle et capacité à communiquer à tous les niveaux.

DHL Express is looking for a Sr. Bilingual Advisor Employee & Labor Relations to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in a fast-growing environment and wants to start building a career in human resources.

This role will be responsible for providing guidance to Leadership and HRBP as it pertains to labour relations, interpretation of the collective agreement, policies, and legislation as well as overseeing compliance and supporting in special projects. How will you contribute to DHL's success?

As a member of the Labour Relations team, this role will work closely with the Director, Labour, Disability, Policy and Compliance to:

Employee Relations and Labour Relations:
  • Provide advice and support to managers and HRBP on a range of employee relations issues, including performance management, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
  • Advise HRBP in resolving employee grievances and complaints through investigation and mediation.
  • Support the management of labor relations activities, including assisting with collective bargaining and negotiations.
  • Help ensure compliance with labor agreements and address issues related to union activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of labor contracts and agreements.
  • Administration of the Grievance process to ensure all grievance, arbitration, CIRB files are prepared for litigation.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
  • Ensure compliance with federal and local labor laws and regulations, as well as organizational policies.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and communicating employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure policy adherence and recommend updates as necessary.
  • Coordinate the administration of reports and processes related to government declarations, conflict of interest management, and other national initiatives.
  • Conduct various analysis, information gathering, and research related to labor, compliance, grievances, and legislation.
  • Play a critical role in national labour relations and compliance initiatives such as Federal Pay Equity Act, Federal Accessibility Act, BKMS management, Compliance results findings, etc.
  • Follow up on identified compliance results.
Training and Development:
  • Support the creation and delivery of training programs on employee and labor relations topics.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on best practices for handling workplace issues.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases, investigations, and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and summaries on employee and labor relations trends, issues, and metrics for senior management.
  • Track and analyze employee relations data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with HR, legal, and other departments to address employee and labor relations issues and support organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with union representatives, employee advocacy groups, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide outstanding customer service in English and French, ensuring clear and effective communication and understanding of customer inquiries, concerns, and requests across Canada.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations or a related field.
  • 5 years of relative experience in human resources.
  • Bilingual- French and English (MANDATORY).
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with software/data analytics is an asset.
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours.
  • High level of attention to solve problems.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to learn quickly and organized.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to communicate at all levels.
