Manage and nurture relationships with key national accounts.

Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.

Regularly meet with key accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Managing the Company’s Portfolio of Products:

  • Oversee sales, customer management, and strategic planning for the product portfolio.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities and assortment selection.
  • Manage sourcing, P&L, and consult on packaging development.
  • Lead trade marketing and promotional efforts to drive product visibility and sales.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth and market share.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer data to identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional activities and campaigns.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an account manager in retail or an equivalent position. Industry or channel experience is required.
  • National mass retail experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing key national accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong experience with managing customer pricing and P&Ls.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
