About the role This position is responsible to manage, maintain and support all systems running the Windows operating system as well as design and implement disaster recovery (DR) strategies using Azure services. The individual will also have a functional role in mentoring other team members and share the off-hour support responsibilities.

What you’ll be working on
Configure and manage Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for automated failover and failback.
Test and validate DR plans regularly to ensure effectiveness and readiness.
Monitor and report on DR system performance, conducting regular reviews and updates.
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and data.
Configure and manage Azure Backup services to ensure data integrity and availability.
Collaborate with incident response teams to manage and mitigate any disruptions or failures during disasters.
Identify opportunities for improving DR processes and technologies based on industry trends and organizational feedback.
Perform other duties as required.


We’re looking for someone with
~ Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences
~10+ years of experience with network and systems administration with a focus on Azure cloud solutions
~ Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and execution in Azure environments.
~ Strong understanding of Azure services, particularly Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup.
~ Familiarity with networking, security, and compliance considerations in disaster recovery.
~ Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
~ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
~ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
~ Strong networking skills
~ Experience with installing and/or managing Linux is a plus
