Lead production scheduling, aligning with sales efforts to ensure seamless operations. Your role: plan, prepare, and maintain schedules, ensuring timely shipments. Dive into quality, cost, and delivery objectives, managing raw material availability and inventory levels.

Inventory Control/ Production Planner Responsibilities:

  • Capacity planning
  • Advise availability dates efficiently.
  • Ensure raw materials are available to support production schedules.
  • Coordinate shipments with the Logistics Department.
  • Provide plant floor documentation and communication as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with the production planning requirements of ISO 9001 and QMS.
  • Manage and maintain data in the ERP system.
  • Cycle counts on a daily, monthly, annual basis
  • Control and maintain acceptable inventory levels for raw materials and manufactured products, utilizing the most efficient order methods.
  • Maintain and report metrics via spreadsheet in SYSPRO
  • Ensure conformance with the inventory planning requirements of ISO 9001 and QMS.

Inventory Control/ Production Planner Qualifications:

  • Advanced with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in a supply chain or manufacturing environment
  • College/University education in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • 5-7 years of experience in production scheduling and planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with MRP in an ERP environment.
