Cascade Corporation is a global supplier of lift truck forks, attachments, and related products. Cascade has played a significant part in the growth and development in the field of material handling from our beginnings as a small machine shop in the early 1940’s to the leading worldwide manufacturer that we are today, with many locations around the world.

We have an immediate requirement for a Buyer Planner. The Buyer Planner will release work orders to production, ensuring that all materials and components are available and the product is completed to meet customer ship dates.

Responsibilities include:

- Prepares production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements; revises the schedule as required. Establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications,
- Determines project material requirements and current inventory status of component parts. Orders and monitors the status of materials through the ERP system;
- Monitors inventory levels, schedules and availability of selected item, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules;
- Issues requisitions for new and special materials, sub-contracting of parts, etc.;
- Establishes manufacturing lead times

Skills and Qualifications include:

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- Highly organized, well-planned, productive, self-directed individual who requires mínimal supervision, and is able to meet tight production timelines;
- Excellent problem solving/analytical skills, possess the ability to make decision and to influence;
- Willing to work in a team environment, possess solid work ethic, and pays attention to detail;
- Post-secondary education with a focus in Mechanical Engineering; or
- 3-5 years of experience in a production planning / assembly work or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to the extent required to write manufacturing procedures with adequate clarity and detail for shop use.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems is required;

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$73,000.00 per year
