**Materials and Inventory Coordinator**
The Materials and Inventory Coordinator position, under general supervision, is responsible for maintaining and managing inventory and coordination of the parts, items, and products for the Parts department. **This Position is for the Skyjack Kitchener Location.**
**Performance Expectations**
- Assist with the execution of physical inventory, perform location auditing and reporting
- Manage and process the purchase orders in the system working with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with various vendors both internal and external to expedite parts
- Co-ordinate with different departments to meet customer requests, including order management, on-time delivery, and problem resolution.
- Maintain database records accurately, including customer and order data etc.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory verification. Must be able to evaluate WIP and raw counts and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain and improve inventory controls strategies to maximize inventory efficiencies and minimize costs.
- Maintain stock on consumables.
- Assist buyers, planners, and material handling with materials flow systems, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Be able to work independently with the ability to prioritize and multitask in this fast-paced environment.
- Must be a good communicator and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details.
- Organize and maintain 5S within the work area.
- Operate forklift and cranes to transport or position larger parts or weights as required.
- Operate MEWP machinery.
**Credentials**
- College diploma in an administrative related discipline or previous relevant work experience.
- Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and intermediate level in Excel.
- Possess strong inventory control and stock keeping abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to interact with their supervisor to receive work assignments.
- Possess drive and motivation to continuously learn and maintain a current knowledge of equipment technology
