Job Description:Job Description Job Overview The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the service, installation, conversion, upgrade and preventative maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment. This is an entry-level position and does not work standard, set hours as work activities may occur throughout a 24-hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager or Field Service Supervisor. ResponsibilitiesPerforms preventative maintenance and general maintenance on AGS gaming equipmentCompletes all reports and paperwork in a timely mannerPerforms technical procedures on both slot machine and table game equipmentTroubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessaryKeeps parts inventory currentParticipates in a weekly on-call rotation with other technicians in territoryProvides “best in the business” customer serviceAdheres to all safety guidelines during work hours, as set forth by AGS Skills/RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED requiredMust be at least 21 years’ oldCurrent driver’s license and vehicle insurance is mandatoryEntry level, gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plusMust have 2 years’ experience in electronics and/or computer networkingRequirement to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulatorsBasic computer skills required; May need to use all tools from Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook)Understands basic AC/DC electronicsBasic understanding of computer networkingSound problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detailPositive attitude, teamwork mentalityA flexible schedule may be required, with the ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThe physical demands/work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to drive long distances when needed. This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
