Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industry-related products, performing calibrations and preventative maintenance duties in the city of Vancouver and surrounding areas. As a Field Service Technician, you will also resolve first-line customer service issues and accurately complete documentation and service reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Troubleshoot, install, and repair all Mettler Toledo Products within Business Area.
  2. Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction.
  3. Complete installs, repairs, calibrations, customer training, performance verifications, and preventative maintenance on equipment in the field to satisfy customer needs and enhance service profitability.
  4. Participate in Service sales opportunities and assist with promoting service products.
  5. Ensure tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  6. Establish and maintain a close working relationship with Regional Service Leader, Senior FSTs, and Support Specialists to support customer needs and develop technical product knowledge.
  7. Provide technical solutions consultation and application support to the customer and sales team, including technical review of sales orders.
  8. Interface with Mettler Toledo sales employees to meet customer requirements, including performing joint sales calls.
  9. Responsible for or assisting with project management activities.
  10. Assist in efforts to modernize, upgrade, and convert customer existing equipment.
  11. Ensure vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met.
