Responsibilities:
- Schedule and assign tasks to the custodial team
- Clean, sanitize and disinfect the facility
- Responsible for unlocking and locking the building, security of building assets
- Operate and maintain all housekeeping equipment
- Following proper protocol of garbage disposal
- Report any maintenance issues through work orders
- Comply with all Health and Safety, and Infection Control procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Custodian is required
- Supervisory experience leading a team is an asset
- Physically capable of repeatedly lifting upwards of 20 lbs.
- Able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time with frequent reaching, bending, and crouching
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow safety policies and protocols
- Pleasant and approachable demeanour
