Job Description Training Specialist Location Remote in Toronto, ON : Training Specialist - Temporary Full time Contract start and end date: December 1, 2023 - November 30, 2024 Location: Based out of the Toronto or Burlington, Ontario offices. Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Training Specialist to support our national company offering Physiotherapy and other allied health services to patients in nine provinces, with more than 5000 employees and contractors. Responsibilities Include:

  • Creation and adaptation of source training materials into an e-learning delivery using a best in class Learning Management System.
  • Works with Manager and subject matter experts to assist in planning, developing and sourcing new and innovative training and development programs in response to the needs of the organization; determine the cost/benefit of such programs.
  • Works with Manager to oversee and manage the roll-out of approved training and development programs, including the design and implementation of online training.
  • Designs engaging, interactive and effective instructional materials to be used in a web-based, computer-based and/or distance learning format;
  • Effectively transforms complex information into e-learning training modules;
  • Applies principles of adult learning to e-learning module design;
  • Creates and executes test plans to ensure functionality and operating efficiency;
  • Provide learning management system administration support, such as account setup, uploading modules, testing/QA and create learning campaigns in coordination with Coaches;
  • Ensures the employee experience meets the training goals, gathers feedback to continuously improve and assess the impact of learning by developing evaluation strategies.

The Successful Candidate must have:
  • Post-secondary in graphic marketing, communication, business, human resources, or adult education;
  • Completion of Adult Learning Certificate desirable
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems, particularly Cornerstone LMS
  • Experience working in eLearning design and technology, particularly Articulate Storyline 360 software or similar program;
  • Minimum two plus (2-3) years' experience in training, including sound knowledge of adult learning principles, creating accessible content, instructional design, facilitation and methods of evaluation, script development and recording. Healthcare experience is an asset.
  • Bilingual in English/French with written and oral communications is preferred.
  • Advanced level of computer competency and proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to facilitate and lead virtual communication.
  • Experience managing multiple training projects from start to finish, engaging subject matter experts and stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to a frequently changing environment where decisions are made quickly
  • Ability to self-direct, be highly organized and take initiative with multitasking of a variety of projects and tasks, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills as a professional and an enthusiastic team player.
  • High level of confidence interacting with Senior Executives
