Senior Citrix Systems Engineer to work on full lifecycle of standing up a new VDI infrastructure 76148-1

Work location: 81 Bay 14th Floor., in downtown Toronto every Monday and every second Friday of the month.

Line of Business: ETS, Employee Technology Services

Duration: Approximately 4 months. End date is October 31st which is fiscal year end.

Project the contractor will be working on: Variety of technical work. Primary project will be working on full lifecycle of standing up a new VDI infrastructure but may also get involved in other more Citrix centric initiatives like Citrix cloud migrations.

Responsibilities:

•Profound knowledge of integration between Citrix (On-Prem CVAD and DaaS), VMware vSphere, HCI and Azure

•Deep understanding of Citrix ELM App Layering technology

•Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues/conflicts on Citrix ELM platform

•Proficient in PowerShell scripting

Must Haves:

- 5+ years of experience as System engineer

- Strong experience configuring / deploying and supporting Citrix – 5 years

- Experience working in a project type work and Program Life Cycle – 5 years

- Strong Communication is a very important for this role**

Nice to have:

- ServiceNow experience

- Previous FI experience

- Citrix Cloud experience will be a strong asset
