The role of the Project Coordinator is to assist the Project Manager in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, and quality standards are met in accordance with our core values. Responsibilities shall include:

  • Working directly with the Project Manager and Superintendent to provide the resources necessary to successfully complete each project.
  • Obtaining and maintaining locates, traffic permits, and other requirements for on-going construction projects.
  • Compiling, submitting, and tracking status of material certifications and other required project-specific submittals.
  • Confirmation of required materials and arranging orders and deliveries of materials to site.
  • Development of site logistics plans, construction schedules, and traffic accommodation plans with the assistance of the Superintendent.
  • Clear communication with subcontractors, including scheduling and confirmation of quantities for billing.
  • Compiling QA/QC documents for Construction Completion Certificates

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

Reporting to the Foreman the Excavator Operator will be responsible for preparing the ground for pipeline installation as required.

  • College diploma or university degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Must have understanding of construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
  • Computer Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Skills:

  • Comprehensive ability coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and conducting detailed business systems and process analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with clients, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • French not required.
