JOB DUTIES:- Installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial mechanical equipment and associated presses, ovens, pumps, molds, dies, and conveyors with electronic controls.
- Some familiarity with PLCs, mainly Siemens and Allen Bradley troubleshooting.
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Disassembles and repairs defective mechanical equipment or systems.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical or electromechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on hydraulic, pneumatic, motorized, and mechanical production tools, machines, and lines.
- Utilize diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Familiar with the utilization of Predictive Maintenance and Condition-Based monitoring tools.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). Supports the Maintenance Planners by contributing to the optimization of the Maintenance Plans and Equipment information in the CMMS.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Licensed 433A Industrial Millwright and good electrical troubleshooting skills.
- At least 2 years of mechanical maintenance technical experience in a manufacturing environment – ideally in the automotive, plastics, metal processing, or high volume fabrication.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
$31/hour base pay plus many extras
