We are looking for a skilled Industrial Mechanic/Millwright to join our Maintenance Team at our window manufacturing plant in London, Ontario.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  1. Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
  2. Conduct preventative maintenance, overhauls, and inspections to prevent unplanned interruption to production
  3. Perform assigned work orders and account for inventory and labour in internal maintenance management system
  4. Modifies, repairs, maintains, improves, and troubleshoots various equipment in a manufacturing environment
  5. Managing equipment changeovers, setups, takedowns, and relocations
  6. Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with standardized procedures to maintain equipment performance to achieve equipment uptime and production line targets
  7. Machine and fabricate components for equipment repairs/improvements
  8. Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and production teams to optimize machinery performance
  9. Ensure all job-related operations follow internal/external Health & Safety requirements
Qualifications Required

Ontario 433A Millwright Certificate of Qualification or Inter-Provincial Red Seal License with a minimum of 3 years’ related work experience
• Demonstrated hands-on experience and skills to troubleshoot and repair on different types of equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and machine components
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70E, CSA Z462 and LOTO
• Knowledge of PLC and control systems considered an asset
• Be able to work quickly under pressure and have a sense of urgency
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Have strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize
