Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Tasks:
  1. Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
  2. Train other workers
  3. Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
  4. Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
  5. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  6. Schedule and confirm appointments
  7. Manage contracts
  8. Manage training and development strategies
  9. Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  10. Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  11. Answer electronic enquiries
  12. Oversee development of communication strategies
  13. Compile data, statistics and other information
  14. Oversee the preparation of reports
  15. Respond to employee questions and complaints
  16. Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  17. Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  18. Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  19. Oversee payroll administration
  20. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  21. Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  22. Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  23. Conduct research
  24. Perform data entry
  25. Provide customer service
  26. Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
  27. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  28. Recruit and hire staff
  29. Maintain and manage digital database
  30. Supervise office and volunteer staff
  31. Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
  32. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
