Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

Robert Half is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a well-established organization within the biotechnology industry. Some of the key responsibilities will include; heavy calendar management, travel arrangements, minute taking, acting as the gatekeeper to the CEO, streamlining processes, preparing documentation and materials and supporting the board. The ideal candidate will be someone who has supported a busy executive with competing priorities, can communicate effectively on behalf of the CEO to different levels of stakeholders but internally and externally, has excellent written and verbal communication skills and implements strategies to ensure the CEO's time is optimized. This is a hybrid role in Vancouver with competitive benefits and vacation. Qualifications-7+ years extensive EA experience supporting a C-suite-Previous Board experience-Fully bilingual in both English & French-Superior communication and ability to foresee challenges and anticipate solutions-Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)-Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Keep information confidential
