Job Description
Our client, a senior crude oil and natural gas production company, with continuing operations in its core areas located in Western Canada, the U.K. portion of the North Sea and Offshore Africa, is currently looking to hire Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspectors in Edmonton, AB.
The E&I Inspectors will be assigned to a variety of projects and will be required to do QA inspections during the fabrication of different equipment E&I equipment at vendor shop based on the inspection and test plan provided by client.
The E&I Inspectors will perform visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection. They will also witness / performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance, perform loop checks, issue surveillance reports, etc.
The E&I Inspectors will be set up as contractors and be contacted when work is available.

Qualifications
Electrical and/or Instrumentation Journeyman Red Seal is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with inspection work.
The ideal candidates will have inspection experience in the Oil & Gas industry and Power and Utility.
Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
Candidates must be proficient in using several types of computer software (Word, Excel. PowerPoint & Outlook).
Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Pay range is $52 to $58/hour depending on experience.
Work schedule: Ad hoc – as required by the client.
