The Senior Manager, Events and Marketing is a versatile role that supports IC Savings' diverse marketing initiatives, with a focus on event management, content creation, social media management, and digital campaign support. This position acts as the central point of collaboration between internal stakeholders and external resources, ensuring cohesive marketing efforts across both broker and direct-to-consumer segments. The Senior Manager, Events and Marketing is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating all events for IC Savings, including both broker-focused and direct-to-consumer events. This role ensures that events are strategically aligned with marketing objectives and integrated with other marketing efforts.

Develop and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy aligned with IC Savings' overall marketing goals
Plan and execute a variety of events, including broker seminars, community events, product launches, and internal events
Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and budget oversight
Collaborate with the Marketing Operations Manager to create event-related content and promotional materials
Develop and implement content strategies aligned with marketing objectives for both broker and direct-to-consumer markets
Create and curate engaging content for various channels (social media, website, email, etc.)
Manage IC Savings' social media presence across all relevant platforms
Collaborate with and manage external content creators and social media specialists
Assist in the implementation and execution of digital marketing campaigns
Support email marketing efforts, including list management and campaign setup
Define and manage merchandise orders for events, branches, sales support
Help track and report on digital campaign and content performance metrics
Assist in market research and competitive analysis projects
Support the maintenance of the marketing asset library and brand guidelines
Work with the Digital Marketing and Analytics Specialist to develop digital promotion strategies for events and analyze their performance
Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field; 8-10 years of experience in a marketing role, with a strong focus on event management, content creation and social media management.
~ Experience in event planning and marketing, preferably in the financial services industry.
~ Strong project management, organizational and time-management skills.
~ Experience with event management software and tools.
~ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
~ Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms.
~ Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
~ Proficiency in social media management tools and basic graphic design software (e.Adaptability and eagerness to learn new marketing technologies and strategies.
~ Understanding of financial services industry and regulatory environment preferred.
~ Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
~ Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Some travel within GTA and Southern Ontario to ensure smooth execution of events and marketing campaigns.
