Do you like challenges? Do you want to be part of a young and dynamic team? Ondel Inc. is currently seeking a Managing Director to assist the President. As Managing Director, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the company ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with the group's various departments to achieve the company's objectives. Our head office is located in Quebec and you will be required to travel on a weekly basis to our Laval office and to our construction sites. Join our experienced team now

What will your work day look like?
  1. Define and implement the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectives;
  2. Lead and support the estimation, industrial, and Greater Montreal departments;
  3. Make informed decisions to ensure long-term growth and competitiveness in the market;
  4. Develop and manage the company's budget, ensuring profitability and financial sustainability;
  5. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve economic performance;
  6. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships;
  7. Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment;
  8. Ensure compliance with standards and regulations in force in the electrical sector;
  9. Implement crisis management and business continuity measures;
  10. Carry out all other related tasks linked to the smooth running of the company's activities.
YOU HAVE:
  1. BAC in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent experience;
  2. 5 to 10 years of experience in a management role in the field of industrial or institutional electricity;
  3. An excellent understanding of the electricity sector and market trends;
  4. In-depth knowledge of electrical industry regulations and standards;
  5. Mastery of the Office suite, mainly Outlook and Excel;
  6. Knowledge of MS Project (an asset);
  7. Good command of written and spoken French;
  8. Good command of written and spoken English (an asset).
