Position: Industrial Mechanic Millwright

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $38.90 per hour + Shift premium

Industry: Manufacturing / Food / Retail

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Shift: 4 day / 10 Hour Shifts

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components utilized in the company and packaging departments, such as flow wrappers and metal detectors.
  2. Ability to make major and minor adjustments to equipment within a reasonable timeframe.
  3. Conduct enhancements to equipment/systems, explore and evaluate new equipment, maintain comprehensive maintenance records, and ensure accessibility of all relevant information.
  4. Responsible for both corrective and preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment.
  5. Implementing equipment/system improvements, researching, and testing new equipment, and maintaining maintenance records.
  6. Additional related duties as directed and assigned by the Supervisor and Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:

5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical work, encompassing setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
Preferred possession of a valid Industrial skilled trades license (Millwright) from Ontario or any Canadian province, although not mandatory.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with good mechanical aptitude
Able to report to a 4 day / 10-hour shift
Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
