Purpose

Help protect IDEMIA’s asset by ensuring validity, correctness and completeness of Financial Reports issued by the COE Team. Ensure full compliance to SRC Team’s Service Level Agreements (SLA). On-time, in-full delivery of Financial Reports to both Internal and External parties on a periodic basis.

Key Missions
  • Manages the team accountable for the validity and correctness of the Balance sheets and correctness and completeness of Profit and Loss Statements of IPS Entities under COE
  • Subject matter expert on IDEMIA Group accounting policies, Group Chart of Accounts and Accounting Systems (ERP) used in COE
  • Responsible for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of financial reports specifically Cockpit Reporting (TM1, SAPBFC), IFRS16 and other reports required by the Group HQ.
  • Lead coordination with local finance managers, FRA team, and Regional Controlling on accounting related matters.
  • Lead external audit related activities across COE and Country Finance. Drive and ensure timely completion and approval of annual financial statement up to preparation of draft financial statements, supporting schedules and submission to Consolidation team.
  • Ensure SRC Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met, issues are addressed on a timely manner and stakeholders are informed of open issues based on SLA.
  • Lead efficiency and productivity improvements on SRC functions as well as other accounting functions
  • Ensure internal control compliance within COE. Support internal audit and internal control activities.
  • Lead Balance Sheet review on regular basis with Country Finance and Cluster Heads.
  • Lead Entity profitability analysis with Country Finance and Group Tax Team.
  • Organize trainings on Group Chart of Accounts, IDEMIA Accounting Policies, ERP’s, and IDEMIA Tools.
  • Participate on various automation project that eliminate manual works in order to save time for high value activities.
  • Manage staff in accordance with the organization policies, objectives setting and performance appraisal. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving.
  • Other functions to be assigned by COE Director.
Profile & Other Information

Experience & background
At least 10-year experience in Financial Reporting

Education
Degree in Accountancy. Either CPA or with Masteral and other equivalent certifications.


Technical skills
Strong understanding of the best-in-class finance practices and processes · Knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements is necessary
