Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Understanding of IAM (RBAC or Application Security) guidelines, policies, procedures.
  2. Understanding of the various systems, their interconnections and the way that security and users are managed.
  3. Play an active role in the design portion of the security model to ensure it's properly designed from the get-go.
  4. Perform ongoing QA review of the work (documentation is done, approvals are received and documented, etc.).
  5. Be aware of the development of the solution, be part of the 2/3 in the box when writing/updating SOP's.
  6. Perform final review of documentation and role configuration prior to approval from owners.
  7. Act as gatekeeper to ensure everything is ready to move to higher system, QA, Staging, Prod.
  8. When guidelines, policies or procedures are missing or not defined, work with Governance to come up with the new/updated guidelines, policies or procedures.
