Land Development Project Coordinator

GEI  is seeking aspiring Professionals who can contribute to the continued growth within GEI’s land development infrastructure and water resources team and are interested in working collaboratively with a talented team of design, management, and technical leaders. This position will support GEI’s land development engineering practice in our Markham, Ontario office, which provides services in a wide range of settings. Representative projects for the land development and civil site design for residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal sites. 

  • Assist Project Managers on residential subdivision developments from preliminary design through construction and assumption
  • Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for various Land Development projects
  • Coordinate with and utilize technical resources within the land development group as projects demand
  • Preparation and review of Engineering drawings sets, technical memos, reports, construction plans and specifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years minimum industry experience
  • Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering or directly related field from a recognized university
  • Experience with engineering design of residential subdivision and site plan land developments projects
  • Experienced with standard analysis programs, Microsoft office programs, and other associated programs is desired
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and high degree of motivation
  • Experience with writing and reviewing technical reports
  • Committed to technical excellence
