We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in the Healthcare industry, located in Downtown Toronto.
Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Do you have experience with full-cycle accounts payable?
Are you proficient with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Formulas, etc.)?

Responsibilities
In this Accounts Payable Specialist role in Downtown Toronto, you will be responsible for the following:
- Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices in SAP accurately.
- Prepare and execute timely payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers, vendor statements, and bank accounts regularly.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve inquiries and disputes.
- Ensure AP processes comply with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Generate and analyze AP reports in SAP to monitor payment cycles and cash flow.
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline AP processes.
- Assist in the month-end closing process with AP-related journal entries and reports.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
In this Accounts Payable Specialist role in Downtown Toronto, you will be required to have the following:
- Minimum 2 years of experience processing full-cycle AP.
- Experience with SAP is required.
- Previous experience working in a similar industry is an asset.
- Must be able to commute to downtown Toronto.
