We dairy you Whether you’re starting your career as a Power Engineer or are ready for a new challenge in a stimulating and collaborative workplace, your next professional challenge is right here at Truro Ice Cream How Agropur invests in YOU: Sign on bonus of $2000 Starting wage of $29.44 Relocation assistance Comprehensive benefit package Annual boot allowance Tools provided 84 hours bi-weekly (12 hour shifts-Pitman schedule) What’s involved in this role: Support Industrial Mechanics/Electricians with equipment breakdowns and troubleshooting Operation/maintenance of Ammonia Refrigeration System, Boiler, Air Compressors, HVAC etc. Completion of planned maintenance during production downtime Use of a CMMS for completing assigned as well as unplanned work Strong commitment to occupational health and safety including LOTO, arc flash, working at heights, confined space etc. What you need to join our team: 3rd Class Power Engineer or 2nd Class Refrigeration Plant Operator license Strong mechanical or other relevant technical background Sound troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment Capable of working in a fast-paced team oriented processing and manufacturing environment working rotating shifts with occasional overtime, weekend work and on-call duties.
