We are hiring a Growth Sales Representative for the Houston area market to seek out new and unknown customers for Mustang Cat and develop relationships to earn their business.

As a Growth Sales Representative, you will meet with prospective customers to learn about their business needs and use that to develop customer-driven solutions utilizing Mustang's unique abilities as a Caterpillar authorized dealer.

Resp onsibilities include:

  • Represent Mustang as industry leader and promote key differentiators to best serve our customers
  • Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of product line, including features and benefits
  • Meet and exceed strategic sales goals
  • Utilize CRM system to manage customer relationships
  • Respond quickly to leads and qualify customers
  • Develop equipment quotes, financing quotes, and other sales proposals as needed
Position requirements:
  • College degree in Business, Management, Technical, or other related field
  • Will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of educational requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically attack a defined sales territory
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Professional communication skills: verbal, written, phone, email, in-person
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to "think on your feet"
  • Strong desire to win
Strongly preferred experience:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of CAT equipment
