Job Summary:

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department through communication of policies and procedures and updating the HR systems accurately

Required Education and Experience:
  1. Completion of/or in process of obtaining Diploma in Human Resources Management
  2. Must be working towards Certified Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP)
  3. Minimum 18 - 24 months experience
  4. Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  5. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
  6. Knowledge of best practices
  7. Strong Coordination and organizational skills
Essential Functions:
  1. Assist with the maintenance of the company's Performance Management systems, Performance Appraisal process, Progressive Discipline process, and Performance Improvement Plan
  2. Manage the temporary worker population
  3. Coordinate the Martinrea Orientation Model for all temporary and full-time employees
  4. Complete the necessary administration to ensure they are entered into the HR systems accordingly
