Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual for the position of General Manager/Canada Country Manager to lead and activate the company’s operations in Canada. This role is perfect for a commercial leader with a proven track record of driving growth in similar scale organizations, particularly within the Canadian small-to-medium business (SMB) market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Activation: Lead the launch of the company’s brand and operations in Canada, with a focus on quickly establishing market presence.
  • Growth Leadership: Drive commercial success through effective go-to-market strategies, business development, and partnerships, focusing on the agency landscape to build strong channels.
  • Strategic Vision & Execution: Shape and execute the strategy to scale up operations, identifying key market opportunities and challenges.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Be actively involved in the day-to-day aspects of the business, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get involved across various functions.
  • Partnerships Focus: Develop strategic partnerships that will drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall market growth. You will work closely with local and regional agencies to enhance brand visibility and create a robust partner ecosystem.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven Commercial Success: A track record of driving growth within a SaaS or technology-driven environment, especially in roles that have involved launching and scaling operations in new markets.
  • Agency and Partnerships Experience: Expertise in managing and leveraging agency partnerships to drive brand activation and market entry.
  • Scale-Up Experience: Demonstrated ability to work in a scaling environment, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution.
  • Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership skills, with the capability to inspire and lead a diverse team, and to act as the face of the business in Canada.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to pivot quickly and adapt to changing market conditions.
