Sr. Residential Electrician

Lorion Electric Inc. is looking for a Sr. Residential Electrician to join our team in Milton, ON.

Lorion Electric Inc. is looking for a fully licensed Red-Seal Journeyperson to join our team. We are a growing company with a long-standing history of quality electrical work with a team of skilled and dedicated individuals. We have a full-time position available and are looking for candidates who have experience leading and running a residential job site as well as leading a team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Plan, organize, and manage daily operations with little supervision including completion of work scope, ensuring the use of company OHS policies and procedures, and on-site inventory management
• Plan and prepare residential construction schedules and monitor progress
• Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
• Instruction and leadership of apprentices and journeypersons
• Manage electrical projects to ensure they are on time and budget including labour, equipment and materials.
• Manage change orders when the scope of work changes
• Professionalism in client/contractor relations
• Present a positive, can-do attitude in the workplace and with our clients
• Punctual and reliable presence on worksites
• Provide labour and material estimates for new projects in a timely manner to the customer
• Approve project invoices and other costs
• Organizing and supervising and electricians to meet project goals and performance expectations, in an effective and efficient manner.
• Follow up on completed work to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
• Follow up on quoted work to drive sales

Requirements:

• Red-Seal Journeyperson Certificate
• 10 years residential electrical experience required
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code
• Valid drivers licence
• Extensive knowledge of CEC
• Experience in all other electrical fields are an asset
• Willing to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Highly motivated, positive and entrepreneurial attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.00-$47.00 per hour
