We are currently recruiting for Quality Control Analyst (Microbiology) for a contract position with our pharmaceutical client based out of Baie-D'Urfé, Quebec.

Location: Baie-D'Urfé, QC

Contract duration: 3 months with potential to extend

Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Quality & Laboratory plans and programs, for the quality of processes and product outputs and assist chemists and chemical engineers conducting chemical and physical laboratory tests using instrumental techniques.
  • Contribute to the administration of all processes to determine the chemical and physical properties of materials, liquids and gases materials related to product development or quality control of production processes or products.
  • Participate in reporting on process deviations and defect.
  • Execute chemical technical assessments making qualitative and quantitative analyses in organic, inorganic, physical, analytical chemistry, photochemistry, or electrochemistry.
  • Apply broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education or formal training in theories/concepts in own function.
  • Performs work which is of limited scope, typically on smaller, less complex projects or task related activities.
  • Individual contributor whose work is closely supervised.
  • Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others
  • Explain facts, policies and practices related to job area from established procedures or formal training
  • Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own job area
  • Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge.

Experience Level:

0-2 years of experience in supporting with Microbiology and/or Chemistry lab activities.

Education Level:

Technical Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry or equivalent experience/qualification

Language:

Bilingual in French and English
