Iris's client, a leading Candian Bank is looking to hire a Project Manager-Capital Markets for a long term project.Job Location- Toronto, ON & Montreal, QuebecWhat is the opportunity?This front-office facing Project Management(PM)/Product Owner (PO) role within Quantitative and Technology Services (QTS) consists of overseeing and managing the development efforts of applications for the Fixed Income Cash Trading desks within the RAMPP (Risk, Analytics, Modelling, Pricing & Processing) organization.Desired knowledge ofCapital Markets Trade ProcessingRates Trading (both Cash and Derivatives)Credit Trading (CDS, Cash and Derivates)What will you do?Collaborate and facilitate decision making with stakeholders (Trading and IT groups)Collaborate with developers to build solutions for the Front OfficeEffective monitoring and escalation to the overall teamDevelop and track project milestones and timelinesCreate and own Working Groups with the different business stakeholdersDevelops the Working Group's milestones and timelinesThe individual will work closely with the development teams and the Credit & Rates Front Office (Traders/Trade Support etc) to build a best in class trade processing system for these businesses.The PM/PO is required to oversee the development efforts for an in-house built Trade processing system.
