THE EMPLOYER

  • Global Insurance Company with branch office in Calgary, AB

THE POSITION

  • Working manager responsible for underwriting complex fleet accounts
  • Overseeing a small team of intermediate auto underwriters
  • Train, develop and lead staff towards strong technical acumen
  • Coordinate underwriting strategies with VP, Commercial Mid Market
  • Portfolio and product management for Western Region

MUST HAVES

  • Minimum 7-10 years experience in Commercial Auto Underwriting
  • CIP Designation preferred
  • Problem solving skills and confident decision making
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach and support a team of professionals
