This is a full-time on-site Paralegal role at Dahab Law, located in Richmond Hill, ON. Duties may include assisting lawyers with research and preparation of legal documents, organizing and maintaining files, conducting legal research, communicating with clients, and other general office tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Civil Litigation or Personal Injury at least 1+ year
  • Completion of a Law Clerk or Paralegal Program from an accredited institution.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian legal system and procedures, including court rules and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with legal research tools and databases including Westlaw and CanLII.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and case management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
  • A professional and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience working as a Law Clerk or Paralegal is an asset.
