About the Role:
The GTB Delivery Team within the TDS Data, Delivery and Integration group is responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects impacting the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) business of TD Securities (TDS). Projects in this space will be in support of various business-driven, regulatory, and industry initiatives. To deliver on this mandate, the team partners closely with stakeholder groups from across TD including members of the GTB businesses, GTB technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Payments Technology and others.
As a scrum master, you will be responsible for helping your teams adopt appropriate agile practices that increases their effectiveness and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating the Agile development process and empowering our team to deliver high-quality products on time.
Responsibilities:
Coach and guide the development team on Agile practices and principles, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
Champion the adoption of Agile values and principles within the team.
Proactively identify and remove roadblocks that hinder team progress (impediments).
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Coach and mentor developers and Product Owners (POs) on the effective application of Agile concepts.
Continuously improve the team's understanding and application of Scrum practices.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for multiple agile development teams.
Strong understanding of Scrum methodology, Agile values and principles.
Proven ability to facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies and meetings.
Ability to forecast and plan using agile practices.
Strong track record of leveraging agile metrics.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Additional Experience:
Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
GTB / CIB experiences
Experience implementing scaled agile methodologies
