Senior Designer- SMARTPlant 3D

The ideal candidate is a Piping designer professional with an entrepreneurial mindset. You are a proven leader who will own a large part of the design life cycle through to its completion.

Responsibilities

  • Draft sketches, piping and instrument diagrams, or model 3D equipment items for power plant systems including steam cycle systems, boiler feed and condensate, water treatment, fuel handling, hydraulic, heat transfer systems, conveying systems, and air and gas systems.
  • Check design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.
  • Adhere to schedules and work assignments to ensure successful project completion.
  • Coordinate with other drafters, designers and other team members assigned to a project or task, and support work progress and results.
  • Train and advise interns or new graduates
  • Collaborate with business/technical leaders
  • Creative conception/design
  • Lead project meetings
  • Multitask multiple projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of drafting software including Autodesk, SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator, Solid Works and related software
  • Knowledge and exposure to Nuclear Industry
  • Rich and practical experience in Piping designs
