This role involves implementing and monitoring Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) protocols and Transportation Safety Programs, under the guidance of our Health and Safety Officer.

Pay Rate: $33-$38/hour
Location: Gold River, BC
Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  1. Implement and audit safety procedures as directed by the Health and Safety Officer.
  2. Ensure completion of e-Compliance documentation and modify forms as needed.
  3. Conduct monthly inspections, behavior-based observations, incident investigations, and safety meetings.
  4. Track employee health & safety training records and facilitate training sessions.
  5. Assess PPE and safety equipment requirements.
  6. Combination of field work/inspections and office-based duties.
Requirements:
  1. Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in Health & Safety.
  3. Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety Management preferred.
  4. NCSO designation is an asset.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams/Zoom.
  6. Experience with e-Compliance administration preferred.
  7. Certifications in Health & Safety Management and COR auditing are advantageous.
  8. 1 year of administrative experience required.
  9. Strong computer skills and ability to manage electronic documentation.
  10. Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle essential.
