MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the research and documenting of bugs in our casino games;
  • Support and implement manual and automated testing practices required by each jurisdiction and regulatory bodies in the gambling industry;
  • Work closely with all development and production team members to develop and implement manual and automated testing practices;
  • Execute test cases for regression and functional testing;
  • Reviewing pull request builds to ensure issues are resolved;
  • Update current test scripts as needed;
  • Perform other tasks as required.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of casino game testing knowledge
  • Good understanding of casino games and real money gaming compliance, jurisdictions, and regulatory bodies
  • Experience working with project tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Online games testing knowledge, specifically HTML5 or browser-based games
  • Experience working in agile and iterative environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skill and problem-solving skills
  • Strong, proactive and logical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding web browser game development, with focus on mobile devices

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Slot Nerd or Casino Game Geek
  • Knowledge of casino games, real money gaming compliance, jurisdictions, trends, and regulatory bodies.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git)
  • Genuinely wants to do a good job as a matter of pride in one’s work
  • Keen to learn and demonstrate ability
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay abreast of online game developments/standards
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset

  • The role will be given for candidates who are in Montreal, Canada and/or who are able to relocate to Montreal before starting the job.
  • Preference will be given for candidates with experience in developing online casino games
