The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and maintaining project schedules and plans, utilizing P&ID, PFD, SAP, and Primavera P6. The Planner/Scheduler will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Job Title: Planner/SchedulerLocation: GTAModel: Hybrid Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.Create and manage project plans, incorporating P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFD (Process Flow Diagrams) to ensure accurate representation of project workflows.Utilize SAP for project management, tracking, and reporting to support project execution and ensure compliance with company standards.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and input necessary for schedule development and maintenance.Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential delays and risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.Prepare and present regular progress reports, including schedule updates, forecasts, and analysis to project teams and senior management.Coordinate with procurement, construction, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.Maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Support the continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes, tools, and techniques.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the water treatment, engineering, or construction industries.Proficiency in Primavera P6 and SAP is required.Strong understanding of P&ID and PFD and their application in project planning.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the water treatment or oil and gas or environmental engineering sectors.Certification in project management (PMP or similar) is an asset.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices.
