THE POSITION

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Digital Services to lead our digital lending and phone team operations. The Manager of Digital Services will have a strong background in digital banking, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing member experiences through innovative digital channels and solutions.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

  • Using a member-centric approach- oversee and manage the digital lending and phone team departments.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve digital service offerings.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team to achieve departmental goals.

Innovation and Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in digital banking and lending.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to implement innovative solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of new digital tools and services that enhance member experiences and operational efficiencies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of digital services.
  • Identify, manage, direct, and coordinate strong relationships with third party partners such as brokers, dealers and select retailers.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on departmental performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Digital Lending:

  • Manage the end-to-end digital lending process, ensuring efficient and member-friendly loan origination, processing, and approval.
  • Collaborate with the IT and Marketing teams to enhance the digital lending platforms and tools.
  • Monitor and analyze digital lending performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize processes.

Phone Team Operations:

  • Oversee the phone team to ensure exceptional member service and support.
  • Implement best practices for phone team operations, including call handling, issue resolution and member satisfaction.
  • Utilize technology to enhance phone team efficiency and effectiveness.

THE CANDIDATE

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a Credit Union or other financial institution with progressively more challenging management roles.
  • Extensive experience in leading people and a proven ability to successfully lead a diverse Team
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with data systems, software applications, and technology.
  • Advanced knowledge in credit management and adjudication including underwriting, portfolio quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong business development skills and proven track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience driving, leading and managing organizational change.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of processes and improvement.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Commerce, IT, or related field.

Pay Type: Salaried, Personal Bonus, Team Bonus
