Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a personable individual, preferably an Engineering or Architecture student, with a strong documentation focus to provide support to the Capital Planning team primarily for their Process Improvement and Documentation Standards initiative. 
  • Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to; electronic file and folder organization, document template creation and management, and assistance updating our building floor plans. 
  • Experience with drawings, AutoCAD or other architectural or design software would be an asset. 
  • Capital Planning is currently working on some very exciting projects that the candidate would be assisting with. 
  • The successful candidate will work well both independently and in a team environment, and bring creativity to the role. 
Requirements
  • Proven MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven well-developed customer-service focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to think independently to proactively anticipate needs.
  • Must demonstrate high initiative and efficiency with accurate attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital-related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.
