Our team is looking for a Training Specialist to join our Employee Experience team at Affinity This role will work collaboratively to provide customized, digital learning solutions to support ongoing employee professional growth and career development. Day to day activities include developing solutions for organizational projects and initiatives, sales and leadership development, and organizational future-proofing, to proactively address evolving business needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Designs, develops, deploys, and monitors a variety of in-house training, third party training, sales training, and employee experience tactics including onboarding.
  • Develops and delivers a broad range of training programs and content to support projects, future-proofing the organization, and leadership development; using a variety of media and digital tools.
  • Conducts ongoing reviews and assessment activities to ensure training is effective, accessible, and reflective of operational policies and procedures, as well as aligned to employee experience outcomes.
  • Reviews, updates, and maintains learning plans, course content, and resources to ensure accuracy and organizational alignment.
  • Creates tools for learner and manager to assess and evaluate training progress, while supporting intuitive and flexible options for training delivery.

What you’ve got:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience or an equal combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate understanding of Affinity Credit Union’s business objectives and divisional business operations
  • In-depth knowledge in a range of talent programming, including employee experience, training and organizational learning design, onboarding, talent development, or learning management systems
