Job Description:The Human Resource Manager will lead, manage, co-ordinate and assist in the activities of the Human Resource Department at Plasman Windsor Tooling and provide functional support to the HR initiatives of Plasman as required. The key responsibilities include:
- Promoting an atmosphere of teamwork at all times
- Ensuring sufficient resources are available for each department
- Directing supervisors in maintaining positive employee relations and a safe work environment
- Overseeing accurate completion of daily time sheets and weekly payroll
- Administering all employee benefits and company retirement savings plans
- Managing employee absenteeism and attendance program
- Leading the Recruitment Process for internal and external positions
- Coordinating and facilitating all aspects of Health and Safety
- Championing the investigation of employee relations issues
- Maintaining HR plant related forms and documents to ISO/ and ISO/IATF standards
Education: Must possess post-secondary College or University level education or equivalent, Must possess a human resources related degree/major, or have completed or are working towards the completion of a recognized Professional Human Resources Designation (e.g. C.H.R.P., P.H.R., S.P.H.R., G.P.H.R.) with equivalent relevant work experience.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years progressive experience in human resources (or related), Familiarity with and ability to interpret and apply Employment and Health & Safety legislation.
