Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Inventory Control: Manage vehicle selection, pricing, purchasing, disposal, and ensure optimal stocking levels.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate status reports, aging and turn analysis, and handle special orders while managing lead time and logistical challenges.
  • Coordination: Work closely with our sales and administration teams to ensure timely delivery of vehicles to our valued customers.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve customer after-sale concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Work Order Management: Create and manage work orders, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of services performed.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the reconditioning process to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify necessary repairs and improvements.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate with the service and body shop departments to schedule reconditioning work.
  • Vendor Management: Work with external vendors for any outsourced reconditioning services.
  • Cost Management: Manage the reconditioning budget and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.

Desired Credentials:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced level) and quick to learn and manipulate new software.
  • Self-motivation: A high-energy, self-starter who thrives on multi-tasking and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
  • Organizational Abilities: Exceptional organization, lead time, logistics, and prioritization skills to ensure timely completion of multiple tasks.
  • Licensing: A valid Ontario driver's license and a willingness to obtain an OMVIC license.
  • Experience: Previous experience in interconnected business operations, project management software, and automotive purchase and repair knowledge is advantageous.
