Introduction
As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.


Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Role

This will be a SME role on SAP FIN on S/4 HANA (Embedded or Decentral) who will be responsible for delivery of innovative technical solutions to solve the complex client problems in the logistics execution. The consultant will provide functional and business process expertise on a project team which generally consists of consultants, subcontractors, remote global resources, and client employees. The consultant also participates in pursuing client sales opportunities and working on bid & proposal efforts.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Interact with the client to understand the business requirements and implement the solution in the SAP Finance.
  2. Manage and support the team to formulate the test plan, identify the testing requirements, review the test results, and guide them technically.
  3. Guide and support business users with User Acceptance Testing.
  4. Support the Cutover activities, Go-Live, Normalization and End User Training process.
  5. Be a focal point for the client and internal team and manage the technical solutions.
  6. Support the SAP practice on different internal activities and business development pursuits.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. Has experience in implementation, managing and testing solutions in SAP HANA FINANCE.
  2. Has used business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the Clients' business environment to achieve the Client expected business results.
  3. Good communication skills and ability to work closely with the client, internal team and external to manage and drive technical solutions.
  4. Understands test management processes will be an added advantage.
  5. Should be able to lead client discussions in FINANCE and lead team members and guide them to achieve project goals.
  6. By applying for this position, you confirm that you speak and write fluent French.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. Has worked with offshore resources for project implementation.
  2. Has led or involved in POC (Proof of Concept) for new features in S/4HANA.
  3. Has worked on Agile project and understands SAFe 5 Agile methodology and associated tools.
  4. Has previously worked or participated in RFP (Request For Proposal) process.
